Laura:

Hey listener, if you haven't seen season two, episode 10, Pegasus

2

:

of Battlestar Galactica, just know

that there is some pretty graphic

3

:

abuse and sexual assault in this

episode that we will have to try to

4

:

meaningfully discuss in this episode.

5

:

So if that's gonna be difficult

for you, please skip this one

6

:

and we'll see you next time.

7

:

We love you.

8

:

Stay safe.

9

:

Bye-bye.

10

:

Xhafer: Hello and welcome to Who Are You?

11

:

This is a reasonably well done sci-fi

watch cast hosted by two former strangers,

12

:

now friends who are currently working

their way through:

13

:

Battlestar Galactica.

14

:

I'm Jair,

15

:

Laura: And I'm Laura,

16

:

Xhafer: and today we've got

17

:

Ben: Ben.

18

:

Xhafer: Hey, Ben,

19

:

Laura: coming in hot, Ben.

20

:

Xhafer: in hot.

21

:

Ben: I'm, I'm excited

to be here for this one.

22

:

'cause I, I, I don't know this, this felt

like a good one for me to be back for.

23

:

Xhafer: I mean, you requested

this very early on, I think when

24

:

the, the call before the call went

out for any guest host, it was,

25

:

give me 33 and give me Pegasus.

26

:

Ben: yes.

27

:

Laura: Hmm.

28

:

Okay.

29

:

Xhafer: and here we

30

:

Ben: Yeah.

31

:

and I realized talking to Jair

before we started recording,

32

:

I had a joke all prepared.

33

:

I was gonna say, oh.

34

:

Hey, we're watching Zena Season

five, episode 19, Pegasus.

35

:

And that was gonna be a fun joke

because I didn't think Lucy Lawless

36

:

was in the show yet, but I missed that.

37

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

38

:

That, that's in the gap between aired as

of recording and when this will go out.

39

:

So that, that episode

actually airs tomorrow, Ben.

40

:

So you'll get to hear us

talk about Lucy Lawless then.

41

:

Ben: Fortunately she's not in this

episode because we have our 100% full

42

:

limit of strong terse, brunette women.

43

:

Laura: We, we are above max.

44

:

Actually.

45

:

We need to dump some real quick.

46

:

Ben: they need the, the Rosalyn special.

47

:

Laura: Yeah, I, I think we need to dump

a, a few 'cause boy we are maxed out.

48

:

But I think before we talk episode

there's some other stuff we need to talk.

49

:

Xhafer: yeah,

50

:

Laura: And you know how we had, Voyager

did it First Delta flyer edition.

51

:

We kind of have, Voyager

did it first Equinox.

52

:

Xhafer: Well,

53

:

Ben: Yeah.

54

:

Xhafer: I, I, I disagree.

55

:

Laura: Well, yes, there's lots of reasons

that I think this is different from

56

:

Xhafer: no, no.

57

:

It's Battlestar Galactica 78.

58

:

Did it first.

59

:

Laura: Oh, okay.

60

:

All right.

61

:

Xhafer: This is a two-parter,

same episode name.

62

:

In that series within Admiral

Kane who comes in and it's a

63

:

whole thing just like this.

64

:

Ben: Our Admiral Kane is better.

65

:

Xhafer: So,

66

:

Ben: just some old guy with the beard.

67

:

He's not bringing that.

68

:

Michelle Forbes Energy

69

:

Xhafer: who is Admiral?

70

:

I feel like I know the actor

who did Admiral Kane in the 78.

71

:

Oh.

72

:

It's gonna bother me.

73

:

I'm Googling it.

74

:

Laura: Have you actually

watched any of the 78 affair?

75

:

Xhafer: Lloyd Bridges was Commander Kane

76

:

Ben: B's dad.

77

:

Xhafer: in, in the original,

78

:

Laura: I was

79

:

Ben: General

80

:

Landry himself.

81

:

Xhafer: the most famous of his children.

82

:

Laura: Uh,

83

:

Ben: I mean, there's Jeff, but I mean,

84

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

85

:

Ben: how many episodes

of Stargate was Jeff on?

86

:

Xhafer: Hey, don't forget Cindy Bridges.

87

:

She was on an episode of

the Lloyd Bridges Show.

88

:

Ben: Cindy Bridges is more

famous than some of the Baldwins.

89

:

Laura: yeah.

90

:

Okay.

91

:

So was it the same sort of plot in 78?

92

:

Pegasus.

93

:

Xhafer: I haven't seen it.

94

:

Ben: It's different.

95

:

I will say it's different.

96

:

I,

97

:

Laura: Okay.

98

:

Ben: but a big, a big part of it is,

Hey, there's another Battlestar out here.

99

:

I will say everything else different.

100

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

101

:

Laura: yeah.

102

:

so, definitely like notes of the

Equinox idea in here, but this to

103

:

me is like, maybe, maybe Ronnie D

had pitched this idea to Voyager

104

:

before, you know, he went and did his

105

:

Ben: I wouldn't be surprised.

106

:

I,

107

:

Laura: Yeah.

108

:

And then they, they like did

it in their own way, but like,

109

:

he's like, what if darker?

110

:

You know?

111

:

Ben: yeah.

112

:

What if they came here?

113

:

If they were here in the Delta quadrant

and they're just like, let's fuck shit up.

114

:

go home.

115

:

Xhafer: I mean, we still have, after

this episode, there's still a lot

116

:

to find out about Pegasus journey

117

:

Laura: Oh,

118

:

Xhafer: get here.

119

:

I will say that without, without any more

120

:

Ben: They made a whole movie about it.

121

:

Xhafer: They did

122

:

Laura: Wow.

123

:

Really?

124

:

Xhafer: It, we don't

watch it until a while.

125

:

I think.

126

:

I forget if

127

:

Ben: come out for a while,

but they circled back around

128

:

and tell the Pegasus story.

129

:

Xhafer: yeah, I think it's, I think

they released it in between seasons

130

:

three and four as a holdover.

131

:

When, uh, things got delayed, they

decided to Martian make the movie.

132

:

but yeah, there is a movie that's about

Pegasus from day one to this episode.

133

:

Laura: Wow.

134

:

Ben: it's

135

:

a razor.

136

:

Xhafer: Yes.

137

:

Yeah.

138

:

Razor.

139

:

So that's definitely on our calendar.

140

:

it's part of

141

:

Ben: there is no battle.

142

:

Sar Galactica Toka.

143

:

That is

144

:

the one person out there

who's like Ben made a Teenage

145

:

Mutant Turtles two reference

146

:

Xhafer: of the,

147

:

Laura: wow.

148

:

That person ain't

149

:

Ben: Andreza.

150

:

Laura: Well, you know, if you,

listener, if you, uh, have been

151

:

following along, you know that I

watched this a little bit ago, right?

152

:

So.

153

:

I've had a couple of like

weeks to stew on this episode

154

:

and I haven't watched anymore.

155

:

Xhafer: weeks,

156

:

Ben: is an episode to,

to not watch anymore.

157

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

158

:

I don't know how you, I, I

told you it was a three parter.

159

:

Laura: I know.

160

:

And I haven't hit parts two and three yet.

161

:

Part of it is that I'm preparing

for my summer class and I'm

162

:

feeling very behind on that.

163

:

So I'm spending like all my

free time making PowerPoints.

164

:

Woo.

165

:

But I, one of the things that, like,

after watching this episode, and I'm

166

:

pretty sure I sent Jair one of those

text messages about like, this sucks.

167

:

I hate it,

168

:

Xhafer: yeah,

169

:

Ben: I believe GE sent that to me.

170

:

Xhafer: yeah.

171

:

Laura: and.

172

:

I, I have had time to ruminate on like,

why did this upset me more than Equinox?

173

:

Because they are so very similar.

174

:

So I had to like pull it

apart for myself, you know?

175

:

Maybe it's obvious to the rest of

you, but sometimes I have to sit with

176

:

a thing that makes me feel a thing

in order to get all the ideas out.

177

:

And so I had like three main reasons

to myself that I feel like this was

178

:

viscerally more upsetting than Equinox.

179

:

Like Equinox is not easy, is it?

180

:

Is it also two parts?

181

:

That's what I thought.

182

:

I thought it was two parts.

183

:

Ben: finale, season premiere,

184

:

Laura: Wow.

185

:

Xhafer: a summer after

186

:

Laura: Yeah.

187

:

And I hear this was a bit of a stew too.

188

:

'cause it was the Midseason

189

:

Ben: mid-season break.

190

:

Laura: Yeah.

191

:

And of course, you know,

Ronnie de adds an extra part.

192

:

So, great.

193

:

Three parter.

194

:

Fun.

195

:

I, I was like, okay, I have to know for

myself, why does this make me feel worse?

196

:

And I was thinking about Starlee

versus the Galactica universe.

197

:

And like Star Fleet is a very

idealized version of humanity.

198

:

It's very aspirational.

199

:

Uh, Even after we got nineties

trek where it's like actually

200

:

dark things happen all the time.

201

:

But that, that like idealized

version of humanity is not

202

:

quite as salient to us, right?

203

:

We can see ourselves in

it, but maybe not quite

204

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

205

:

There's work

206

:

Laura: ourselves as now

ourselves as we want to be.

207

:

Ben: Yes.

208

:

Laura: And the galactic accrue

is that much more like believable

209

:

current state of humanity.

210

:

And Jair and I talked in the last episode

or maybe the one before about how like,

211

:

you know, there's no like phasers and.

212

:

Spanner or some things, or like

wave a light over it in galactic.

213

:

It's like welding and like things

that exist in our universe today.

214

:

Yeah.

215

:

So it feels more salient when bad things

are happening in the galactic universe.

216

:

To me, I think, and then, you know,

the, the Equinox, and it's been a

217

:

minute since I've seen Voyager, but

my, the basic takeaway I had in it, in

218

:

my mind is that the violated party in

that is like some blobby, floaty boys.

219

:

Ben: it is screechy aliens

from the the fifth dimension.

220

:

Laura: Yeah.

221

:

Like

222

:

Xhafer: unrelatable.

223

:

Laura: yeah.

224

:

Not, uh, with a human face, shall we say.

225

:

And they're being like drained of their

energy or for the War Corps or something

226

:

like, something very techno babbly.

227

:

Ben: And it's not

228

:

just

229

:

Xhafer: this matter and using it to make

a matter anti-matter reaction, I guess.

230

:

Laura: Yeah.

231

:

Ben: it, it's alien energy

can make our warps go faster.

232

:

That yeah.

233

:

Laura: But this is like these things

that just look, just like humans

234

:

are being tortured, just like humans

would be tortured for information.

235

:

So that's also a very

salient, like we can picture

236

:

Xhafer: and I'm not trying to downplay

what happens with their silent prisoner

237

:

or their boomer in this episode.

238

:

But like, she also just

treats humans like shit.

239

:

She shot her first officer, you know,

240

:

like, like she is.

241

:

Terrible to anything sentient.

242

:

Laura: Admiral Cain and the shooting

of the first officer, I wasn't quite

243

:

clear at the end of this episode

if that really happened or not.

244

:

We know Ty believes.

245

:

That she shot the first officer,

246

:

but it was presented as like,

maybe it's just a rumor.

247

:

I don't know.

248

:

Ben: And I actually, so I wanted to bring

this up when we get to it in the episode,

249

:

but we're talking about it right now.

250

:

And I found this absolutely fascinating.

251

:

As somebody who watches the, uh,

miniseries band of brothers at least

252

:

once a year, there is a character in

that captain Spears who, one of the

253

:

stories about him is, did you know

that during the D-Day landings, he

254

:

shot one of his, his own sergeants?

255

:

And the guys are like.

256

:

It's like a mythical rumor about him.

257

:

Much like for our Galactica

people, Kane shooting her xo

258

:

Laura: Mm-hmm.

259

:

Ben: and in that it's treated like,

hey, he had somebody who was being

260

:

insubordinate and not getting the job

done and he just, shot the guy and they

261

:

moved on and like they have completed

their objective and it's not treated

262

:

as a, Hey, this is, is something such

that creates such a warning that we're

263

:

like, we will never trust this guy.

264

:

And I just thought it was a very

interesting dichotomy of Kain shot her XO

265

:

when they wouldn't complete an objective

in an actual historical person there.

266

:

You know, they talk about it like, I don't

know man, that feels kind of weird, but.

267

:

I bet he was probably justified.

268

:

Like they don't immediately jump to this.

269

:

This person is, has the

taint of evil around them.

270

:

Laura: Mm-hmm.

271

:

Ben: And that was the two immediate

you know, reference points I had for

272

:

Officer who shoots a subordinate.

273

:

Xhafer: Hmm.

274

:

Laura: Yeah, and Band of Brothers

is historical and we've like done

275

:

the history treatment on that.

276

:

Ben: there are problems

with Band of Brothers.

277

:

The big problem with Band of Brothers

is the author Steven Ambrose, like just

278

:

interviewed people without doing any

historiography of like, reading, like

279

:

go, like going deep into notes and stuff.

280

:

And so one thing famously in the show,

they report that like a guy died.

281

:

And he didn't die.

282

:

He recovered from his wounds,

like continued to serve throughout

283

:

the war and then fought in Korea.

284

:

He just got moved to a different

unit but since he just interviewed

285

:

people, they were just like, oh

yeah, that guy Blythe, he got shot

286

:

and then we never saw him again.

287

:

He probably died and since he

didn't like read medical reports,

288

:

he just interviewed people.

289

:

Laura: Well, When I, when I

say the history treatment, I

290

:

mean, we, we storify it, right?

291

:

We, we, we make it very storied,

and that's not always accurate.

292

:

Ben: Right.

293

:

Laura: That's, that's what I'm speaking

of when I say the history treatment.

294

:

But the, the third thing I had on

why I feel ickier about Pegasus is,

295

:

uh, we've been so primed to dislike

and distrust all of the silos, right?

296

:

in Equinox, those floaty boys

didn't do anything, right?

297

:

They were just existing in the fifth

dimension or whatever, and accidentally

298

:

got pulled over by something and

techno, techno, techno babble.

299

:

Uh,

300

:

Ben: Subspace anomaly.

301

:

Xhafer: Start liquefying them.

302

:

Yeah.

303

:

Throw in the ship's blender.

304

:

Laura: Yeah.

305

:

And so when we're like looking at what

is happening with our two female cys,

306

:

Sharon, and six in this one we're, we're

doing a more effortful processing trying

307

:

to reconcile like the bad things of the

cy with the bad things now happening

308

:

to the CY and trying to think like,

okay, is there like a line somewhere.

309

:

Ben: Yeah.

310

:

Is, is this bad until you do a genocide?

311

:

Laura: Yeah,

312

:

Ben: It's like, no.

313

:

I, I still feel bad about it, but

also like they did do a genocide.

314

:

Laura: yeah.

315

:

It's like, what?

316

:

What?

317

:

What do we do with this information?

318

:

We have to spend a lot more time on it.

319

:

Or maybe we don't, some people

don't, but I had to ruminate

320

:

for a little while on this one.

321

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

322

:

Ben: I am going to stand up

on my Miss Rachel's soapbox

323

:

and just say genocides bad.

324

:

Um,

325

:

Laura: Yeah.

326

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

327

:

Ben: but also be like, Hey,

assaulting people is bad.

328

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

329

:

Ben: I don't like any of this.

330

:

Laura: No,

331

:

me neither.

332

:

Ben: But I am also a weirdo who believes

that the means justify the ends.

333

:

Laura: That's a bold statement to drop.

334

:

Xhafer: yeah,

335

:

Ben: How you get there

is the more worthy part.

336

:

Xhafer: instead of the,

337

:

Ben: Yeah.

338

:

So it's not the ends justify the means.

339

:

The means justify the ends.

340

:

Laura: Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.

341

:

Xhafer: Well, that made

my brain skip a beat.

342

:

You guys wanna get into this episode?

343

:

Ben: Let's do it to it.

344

:

Xhafer: All right.

345

:

We open on Starbuck, going

over a Caprica Rescue Mission

346

:

Plan with Adama and Rosalyn.

347

:

Man, this must feel like ages ago if

you didn't rewatch the episode, Laura.

348

:

Laura: Yeah, it does.

349

:

Xhafer: Um, we know the CYS

can do this in a single jump.

350

:

I'm guessing that they're just

better at math, better at star

351

:

charts at Adama references the red

line, which we know is the level of

352

:

observable space from the colonies.

353

:

It would take Galactica 241 jumps minimum

to get back to Caprica, maybe double

354

:

when she starts to argue about the

necessity of this compared to the scope.

355

:

When action stations are called

Starbuck runs to the fighter Bay

356

:

as a dam calls CIC to get tie

moving on, what he needs to happen.

357

:

There's an unknown huge ship and

ditis, they think it's a base star.

358

:

Alert fighters have been launched.

359

:

Ben: And as you were talking about all

the Equinox stuff, this just may be like,

360

:

how badly does Adama wish right now?

361

:

He could just go onscreen

362

:

Laura: Uh,

363

:

Ben: instead of just like

looking at the bleeps and bloops,

364

:

Laura: there's a big, large bloop out

there, but I can't tell you what it is.

365

:

Xhafer: As they

366

:

Ben: do we not have a freaking telescope?

367

:

Like we saw that there's a forward

observation bay, just like.

368

:

Have, have Gada out there just

with binoculars all the time.

369

:

You are now lieutenant binoculars.

370

:

Laura: I mean, we saw that, that forward

observation bay is like the place to be.

371

:

Right.

372

:

We have a rotation, we have

like a bouncer outside, so

373

:

just like have some binoculars.

374

:

Anytime the li the, the, uh, alarms

and lights start blaring, like have

375

:

somebody pick up those binoculars.

376

:

Ben: for you to bone down, you have to

sign up for a shift on the telescope,

377

:

Laura: Exactly.

378

:

Xhafer: Does that mean that there's

people boning in there while

379

:

you're doing your telescoping?

380

:

Ben: your noise canceling

headphones, Jair,

381

:

Laura: You should get some noise canceling

382

:

Xhafer: noise is actually

the thing I'm least concerned

383

:

Ben: looking through the telescope.

384

:

Jair

385

:

Xhafer: Okay.

386

:

Ben: see nothing Jair.

387

:

Xhafer: The bit in me wants to go

through all five senses and continue

388

:

complaining right now, but I think we're

just gonna move on because we spent like

389

:

Ben: You are on a Battlestar

full of recycled air.

390

:

Nothing smells

391

:

Xhafer: That's a hundred percent.

392

:

Well, it's probably like an airplane air.

393

:

As long as no one farted

right next to you, we'll

394

:

Ben: See, I'm imagining it's

more like submarine air,

395

:

which like before they made it a

like against the rules to smoke.

396

:

I've heard like when you

surfaced on a submarine was the

397

:

happiest you are on a submarine.

398

:

'cause it was just

cigarette smoke and farts.

399

:

Um,

400

:

Laura: There should be no

smoking on a submarine.

401

:

When we, when we built submarine, we

should have said no smoking in tube.

402

:

Like, it's like no guns in

tube, no smoking in tube.

403

:

Ben: fair.

404

:

Xhafer: Yeah,

405

:

Ben: You try telling a man from

the:

406

:

underwater in a tube, he can't smoke.

407

:

Xhafer: I need a cigarette

Thinking about it,

408

:

Ben: they invented the plane

like 20 years ago, and you

409

:

would tell me to go underwater.

410

:

I'm gonna smoke.

411

:

Xhafer: When they get a little closer,

they get colonial transponder signals.

412

:

They start their contact code protocol

413

:

Pegasus returns, ATIs call.

414

:

And this is Admiral Kane,

played by Michelle Forbes.

415

:

Most famously Ro Lauren from TNG,

They get visual confirmation and

416

:

we cut over to see Pegasus, CIC

and this is the happiest moment.

417

:

It is all downhill from here.

418

:

Ben: we, we have found the cooler

Daniel, like this, this, is a nicer,

419

:

fancier, flashier battle star with

just a ton of vipers swarming about it.

420

:

Xhafer: Yeah, we'll talk

about that in just a moment,

421

:

Laura: At the end of this here,

Lee says that you won't believe it.

422

:

It's like a dream.

423

:

And Adama says it is a dream,

which made me like super paranoid

424

:

for the rest of it.

425

:

Like what's real,

426

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

427

:

Ben: and they also say it's a miracle, and

that is one of the things that is like.

428

:

Oh, hey, when you like, add a like quasi

sense of mysticism around your show,

429

:

Laura: Mm-hmm.

430

:

Ben: when you've got a character who's

just like, everything is happening because

431

:

this is what God wants, you can hand

wave the conversation we have later.

432

:

It's like, Hey, Pegasus,

how did you find us?

433

:

Laura: Uhhuh.

434

:

Ben: Like, it's been months.

435

:

How did you find us?

436

:

God wanted it to man,

437

:

Laura: Yeah.

438

:

Ben: like, I'm royalty Moore.

439

:

I, this is my version of a wizard.

440

:

Did it?

441

:

Laura: right.

442

:

right.

443

:

And uh, a lesser show would.

444

:

Acknowledge right away that this

is actually a nightmare and not a

445

:

dream, but, uh, it is a slow burn

446

:

Xhafer: Yeah, we go to theme

survivor count 49, 6 0 5.

447

:

We are up 1,752.

448

:

Laura: Ben just erased the whiteboard

For the listeners who can't see it,

449

:

wrote the

450

:

' Ben: cause I wrote it down too.

451

:

Laura: Yeah, I'm, I'm writing it down from

here on out 'cause I'm just interested

452

:

in the numbers, but I'm not gonna

get super technical with it, I think.

453

:

Xhafer: uh, I did want to talk about

the crew compliments for a minute.

454

:

'cause this is low.

455

:

Um, this is low compared to Galactica.

456

:

Laura: How many does Galactica have on it?

457

:

Do we know

458

:

Xhafer: We do, we know, we actually know

a handful of things about these ships.

459

:

Some of it is from the pilot,

some of it is from video

460

:

games and auxiliary material.

461

:

So we've got two different

classes of Battlestar, right?

462

:

Galactica is the old school

Jupiter class from the first war.

463

:

The Pegasus is a Mercury class.

464

:

Uh, this is the difference

between a constitution and a

465

:

galaxy for you Star Trek nerds.

466

:

Laura: Okay.

467

:

All

468

:

right.

469

:

Xhafer: so, the Jupiter class

has a full crew compliment.

470

:

During the first silent war would've

been staffed by 5,000 people.

471

:

Laura: Okay.

472

:

Xhafer: that's crew officers Marines.

473

:

a normal one at the time of the attack

would've been staffed with 3,500 people.

474

:

Galactica was at 2,400 since it

was about to become a museum.

475

:

It was bare bones.

476

:

So Galactica takes almost 2000

people to just run it as a ship.

477

:

Laura: okay.

478

:

Xhafer: The uh, mercury class here is

400 meters longer, 200 meters wider,

479

:

and 150 meters taller than Galactica.

480

:

Ben: But it's not the size.

481

:

It's how you use it.

482

:

Xhafer: Exactly.

483

:

So much on the Mercury class is

automated that a normal full crew

484

:

compliment for them is about where

Galactica was when the attack happened.

485

:

A normal fully staffed mercury class.

486

:

Battlestar is 2,600 people.

487

:

Laura: Are the computers networked?

488

:

Xhafer: There are networked computers.

489

:

Yes.

490

:

Ben: Oh, blasphemy.

491

:

Laura: hmm.

492

:

Xhafer: we find out, not on the ship,

because they had taken out the network

493

:

in order to facilitate the upgrades

that were coming as part of the refit.

494

:

So that's something that

495

:

Laura: Oh, that's right.

496

:

That's right.

497

:

Xhafer: later in the episode.

498

:

Ben: And that's the only

reason they're still alive,

499

:

Xhafer: Mm-hmm.

500

:

Yeah.

501

:

So the Pegasus is a much larger ship.

502

:

I would say it's probably, Galactica is

maybe two thirds the size of Pegasus.

503

:

But it is also a lot less

people comparatively.

504

:

Ben: but it does have

10 squadrons of vipers

505

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

506

:

Laura: Got a lot of pilots.

507

:

Ben: Galactica

508

:

three.

509

:

Xhafer: they might, it might

be three and fully staffed.

510

:

I think they're at two right now.

511

:

Laura: Hmm.

512

:

That's not good.

513

:

Xhafer: Lots of vipers.

514

:

Ben: sorry.

515

:

I'm sorry, lawyer.

516

:

I was, I was remiss.

517

:

It's got 10 squadrons of Vipers.

518

:

Laura: Oh,

519

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

520

:

There we go.

521

:

Ty Rosalyn and Papa dama

head down to the flight deck.

522

:

As Admiral Kain comes aboard, we

get a little bit about her here.

523

:

Fast tracked young, tough, smart, promoted

ahead of a ton of other commanders.

524

:

Laura: Mm-hmm.

525

:

Xhafer: Uh, And then we see people

coming out of the, uh, shuttle.

526

:

It is most of the command

staff for Pegasus.

527

:

I forgot that, uh, Sebastian,

uh, puer was in this show.

528

:

He's a real, that guy of

nineties, two thousands tv.

529

:

He's the pilot who's not the cag,

530

:

uh, walks off the ship.

531

:

He's just a bit part.

532

:

Uh, and then our CAG here is

John Pryor, uh, Folsom, who

533

:

is in two episodes of Viper.

534

:

Along with a ton of other

stuff, not ones we watched.

535

:

Ben: I would've

536

:

Xhafer: I.

537

:

But I, I dug through their IMDBs for fun.

538

:

And so, uh, that, that was fun to see.

539

:

He's been in everything.

540

:

But you probably don't recognize

him because he almost always

541

:

has long hair and a beard

542

:

and he's got short

543

:

Laura: yeah.

544

:

Then Laura doesn't know who he

545

:

is.

546

:

Yeah.

547

:

Xhafer: if you like look him up on IMDB,

you'll instantly know who this guy is.

548

:

I promise he's in a ton of stuff.

549

:

Ben: did it strike you as

weird that she came to them

550

:

Xhafer: Um,

551

:

Ben: from a, like, production, like we're

not building the Pegasus landing strip.

552

:

I understood it, but I was just like,

shouldn't she be like, you guys come here?

553

:

Laura: like militarily, she could

have demanded Adama, you come to

554

:

me, but Adama's got the president.

555

:

Ben: I did appreciate though.

556

:

She comes back and she's just like.

557

:

The Secretary of Education where

she's like, at least smart enough

558

:

to be like, I know who this person

559

:

Laura: Mm-hmm.

560

:

Xhafer: Mm-hmm.

561

:

Laura: Yeah.

562

:

She's no Hilo.

563

:

Ben: well, but she didn't have

to be like, who is Rosalyn?

564

:

Like, how is she president?

565

:

And Adama be like, she was

the secretary of education.

566

:

And, and you know, she, he

didn't Adam explain to her?

567

:

She just knew like,

568

:

Laura: She knew the, uh, the

569

:

Xhafer: Fucking Linda McMahon is here.

570

:

Ben: Oh my God.

571

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

572

:

Ben: God.

573

:

Jair.

574

:

Xhafer: oh.

575

:

You thinking about Linda McMahon as

president during an apocalypse right now?

576

:

Ben: Yeah.

577

:

Yeah.

578

:

I am.

579

:

Xhafer: Uh, you shouldn't

think about that.

580

:

Ben: Our children need

to learn about a one.

581

:

Xhafer: Um, she also pulls

Guy Baltar out of the crowd.

582

:

She knows who he is without being

told not as the vice president,

583

:

but as a scientist, like

584

:

he is.

585

:

He's a famous, brilliant person.

586

:

Laura: guys Baltar is, but she

does not seem to like Rosalyn.

587

:

Ben: Would you, if you like,

put yourself in the head space

588

:

of, I've been alone fighting the

CYS for at this point, months.

589

:

And then I find another crew,

another team to help me.

590

:

And also there's a secretary of

education running around claiming

591

:

to be president of the colonies.

592

:

Xhafer: Mm-hmm.

593

:

Laura: I don't know.

594

:

I, I would like to think that I would

meet that with some curiosity, like, huh,

595

:

well they've also made it these months

596

:

Xhafer: Yeah, just them.

597

:

Laura: the, and, and a whole bunch

of civilians, and we somehow,

598

:

we've kept these civilians alive

for a whole bunch of months.

599

:

That's really interesting.

600

:

I think I would meet it with

That's very interesting.

601

:

Xhafer: Lots of ships

602

:

Ben: I, I, I probably would come at

this as a, like, there is no succession,

603

:

there is, there are no colonies.

604

:

Laura: Yeah.

605

:

Ben: You are less than unimportant.

606

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

607

:

She's probably shocked to find

out there's still a quorum.

608

:

Laura: Yeah.

609

:

She's gonna love that.

610

:

Ben: why are you guys

cosplaying as government?

611

:

Uh, this isn't important right now.

612

:

Laura: Oh yeah.

613

:

This Admiral Kane is not gonna be

impressed with all of that, but I'm

614

:

not impressed with Admiral Kane.

615

:

So there we go.

616

:

Ben: But she has a very smart Bob.

617

:

Laura: Yeah.

618

:

But have you seen Rosalyn's Blazers?

619

:

Ben: got the two.

620

:

Xhafer: So yeah, all, all

Pegasus leadership comes over.

621

:

Uh, they're greeted with the fleet

leaders, military and civilian, and

622

:

everyone kind of celebrates after

the decorum of the moment has passed.

623

:

Adam McCain and Roly drink and Adamis

Quarters as the XOs share moonshine.

624

:

This is Graham Beckels, Colonel Jack Fisk.

625

:

Ben: Yes.

626

:

Xhafer: He talks some shit,

but Ty knows he's right.

627

:

Talking about Galactica being

a heap of parts happening

628

:

to fly, fly its way through space

629

:

Ben: It should be hauled away as garbage.

630

:

Xhafer: Oh, I misspoke.

631

:

It is garbage.

632

:

Ben: Yeah.

633

:

Xhafer: Exactly.

634

:

Laura: I love Galactic.

635

:

I don't like him talking

this way about my ship.

636

:

Ben: But when we see Pegasus,

we're like, it is nicer.

637

:

Xhafer: It's a nice big ship.

638

:

Laura: Yeah.

639

:

Okay.

640

:

But sometimes, like we love a

Millennium Falcon, don't we?

641

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

642

:

Ben: Mm-hmm.

643

:

And we do get the, the bit here where

Kane is just like, so I am an admiral,

644

:

so you get to, you gonna gimme any guff?

645

:

And Commander Adama's like, Nope.

646

:

Xhafer: Nope.

647

:

Ben: And she's like, cool.

648

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

649

:

Ben: Also, Billy pulls Laura away

from the meeting and I'm just like.

650

:

What could possibly be more

important at this moment?

651

:

Laura: she's got papers to sign.

652

:

Y'all.

653

:

There's, there's stuff that needs the old

654

:

Ben: that need the corners cut off,

655

:

but it's just like we found

the only other humans alive.

656

:

Cancel the rest of my meetings.

657

:

Billy, shut the fuck up.

658

:

Xhafer: I don't care what Tom Za says

right now, it doesn't fucking matter.

659

:

Laura: I don't know.

660

:

We might need Tom Zarik

here in a little bit.

661

:

I'm worried.

662

:

I'm worried y'all.

663

:

Ben: Oh God.

664

:

Kane would kick Tom Zarik in the

dick and throw him out in airlock.

665

:

Laura: is why Tom Za needs to be faster.

666

:

He needs to be faster and sneakier.

667

:

Ben: I do like, I understand from

a, like a cons writing construction

668

:

wise, we get the bit where she's

just like, alright, I'll tell you a

669

:

little bit about what's happened to

us and you just send me your logs.

670

:

And it's just like, okay, we don't need to

sit here and listen to Adama and Rosalyn

671

:

like recount the last season and a half.

672

:

But it's like you got somewhere

else to be Admiral Kane

673

:

Xhafer: Well, it's also the beauty of

the moment though, because she knows

674

:

that she, she doesn't ask for the logs.

675

:

She tells Adama to send over the logs

because this is the moment where the

676

:

pecking order has been established.

677

:

Laura: Yeah.

678

:

He is having to submit hard.

679

:

Ben: roll over.

680

:

Show me that belly.

681

:

Laura: Yep.

682

:

Xhafer: Rosalyn is shook and leaves.

683

:

Laura: this, this is where Cain

had explained the situation.

684

:

So Pegasus had been dry docked for those

repairs that we were talking about.

685

:

We take, took the computers out.

686

:

Kane said she had just like

cleared out her office or something

687

:

Ben: Yep.

688

:

Laura: The Scorpio shipyard

689

:

gets attacked.

690

:

Five ships were destroyed by nukes,

and they did a blind jump out of there.

691

:

They didn't plot where

692

:

they were going, they Just

693

:

Ben: They also mentioned five ships, three

or two of, or three of them battle stars.

694

:

And I'm just like, how much more

interesting would this show be if there

695

:

was like a smaller different ship tagging

along that was like a colonial destroyer,

696

:

like if we just had a second set.

697

:

Xhafer: Most of the ships that were

in, so they, they're called BS gs,

698

:

they're Battlestar groups, right?

699

:

Ben: Mm-hmm.

700

:

Xhafer: And this is where the

numbers on the hole come from.

701

:

So Galactica is BSG 75.

702

:

It says it underneath Galactica.

703

:

That's Battlestar Group 75.

704

:

So a Battlestar group, because

I read about this when I was

705

:

reading about the other stuff is

706

:

Nah.

707

:

Yeah.

708

:

Is the Battlestar is basically

the aircraft carrier and then they

709

:

typically had a couple of support

ships depending on what was required,

710

:

but they were not full fleets.

711

:

Right.

712

:

So you might have a destroyer with

one, you might have a destroyer

713

:

with a Galactica, you one, but a

Pegasus would probably not have one.

714

:

Um, like, just like uh, in Galactica, they

cannot refine their own fuel on board.

715

:

So they need a fuel refinery ship

that would probably be part of

716

:

a standard flotilla for them.

717

:

Part

718

:

of

719

:

Ben: just thinking it'd be cool.

720

:

'cause I was thinking about like

World War ii, like convoys and stuff.

721

:

Like if every so often we jumped over

to, you know, the, the, the, you know,

722

:

the cruiser that hey, we've got some

guns, but like we can't launch vipers.

723

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

724

:

Laura: Yeah.

725

:

One final thing I love about this scene

is the look on Rosalyn's face when

726

:

she realizes Adama is not in charge.

727

:

Ben: Yeah.

728

:

Xhafer: yeah.

729

:

She's not pleased.

730

:

Laura: I don't like Kane

calling it out, like, fuck that.

731

:

But I do like us getting to see it.

732

:

Xhafer: Mm-hmm.

733

:

Ben: Finding out that it's like, wait,

it's, it's not mommy Laura and Daddy Aaba.

734

:

It's Mommy Kane.

735

:

Xhafer: Hmm hmm.

736

:

Ben: We also find out that at this

point that during our exo drink off

737

:

that they have their owns prisoner.

738

:

Xhafer: Yes.

739

:

We, this is also where we get the

story about Kane killing our previous

740

:

XO that we had already talked about.

741

:

Ben: Yes.

742

:

Laura: except it's jokes.

743

:

Jokes, guys.

744

:

Ha

745

:

Ben: totally, totally, joking

746

:

Xhafer: totally jokes.

747

:

I don't think this story gets confirmed

as true or false until the Razor movie.

748

:

Ben: Yes,

749

:

Xhafer: anyways we get this

super long shot on Adama after

750

:

Kane leaves his quarters.

751

:

I love this shot.

752

:

It's framed perfect, and it's

just adama just like, fuck,

753

:

but also fuck, but also, fuck.

754

:

It's

755

:

Ben: also, yay.

756

:

Xhafer: eh?

757

:

Ben: Like, I don't have

to deal with this shit.

758

:

I can just follow orders now.

759

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

760

:

Laura: I think he's gone too far.

761

:

I don't think he wants to

762

:

Ben: I think he, I, he, he, he has

gotten used to being Daddy Adama.

763

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

764

:

Laura: and I,

765

:

and he hasn't done a bad

job that we can see yet.

766

:

You know, I guess we need more hindsight

to be able to actually assess, but.

767

:

We've, we've had some spectacularly

bad calls by other people.

768

:

His have been like kind of

769

:

Ben: he is made some bad calls.

770

:

Laura: Yeah.

771

:

But

772

:

Xhafer: they get called up in this episode

773

:

later, so

774

:

Ben: We also get Lee getting

chewed out on the flight deck

775

:

because you guys don't tally your

kills bunch of bitches, you know.

776

:

Xhafer: the correct answer is Lee

going, I got 103 last episode.

777

:

Motherfucker,

778

:

Laura: right?

779

:

Xhafer: like, there's not room on my hole.

780

:

Get on

781

:

Ben: Well that's, that's

when you change the color.

782

:

That's what they had to do

for Wedge an Tilly's X-Wing.

783

:

I know, because I read

all of the X-Wing books.

784

:

Laura: sure,

785

:

Ben: I was very popular in high school.

786

:

Laura: Yeah.

787

:

No, I like that this whole thing

started with Starbucks being like, what?

788

:

You guys are gross.

789

:

Why would you do that?

790

:

And then we chew Lee out

for not tracking the kills.

791

:

Like Starbucks has a,

has her head on straight.

792

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

793

:

I mean, this is a pretty common

practice in during most ARB conflicts.

794

:

Laura: Most of the people on Pegasus

have not had the same like interpersonal

795

:

reactions or actions with S that

Starbeck has that maybe make her

796

:

feel a little less cool about that?

797

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

798

:

Anyways, uh, Lee gets called a

Nepo baby during all this too.

799

:

Just wanna point that

800

:

Laura: Oh yeah.

801

:

Mm-hmm.

802

:

Ben: I mean.

803

:

Xhafer: He says it in

such a little shit too.

804

:

He totally deserves to get called out

because he's just all like, last I

805

:

checked, my commander's name is Adama.

806

:

You should remember it

'cause it's the same as mine.

807

:

Laura: Yeah.

808

:

He probably shouldn't

have put it that way.

809

:

He was kind of a bitch about it.

810

:

Xhafer: Mm-hmm.

811

:

Cain and Gais talk in front of Sharon,

who is just completely ignored.

812

:

Gais agrees to come examine

their SI prisoner as six.

813

:

PT is like, wonder who it will

be known enemy, new face, or a

814

:

friend you can no longer trust.

815

:

Ben: man.

816

:

If they walked over to Pegasus

and there wasn't Adam dama there,

817

:

Xhafer: Well then Kane would've shot.

818

:

Adama the

819

:

second she got off the

820

:

Ben: I know.

821

:

It's just been a funny

822

:

Laura: Yeah.

823

:

Xhafer: Like you could do it

with a couple of characters.

824

:

Like, uh, she might not have

like seen like a Tyro or a

825

:

Hilo at that point to know.

826

:

But I don't think you can get

away with the big three, but,

827

:

Laura: You,

828

:

Ben: Captain Kelly.

829

:

Laura: I was, kind of wondering

if it was gonna be our

830

:

journalist from the last reveal,

831

:

Ben: Lucy Lawless.

832

:

Xhafer: yeah.

833

:

Well, as we know, too much stern

brunette in this episode already,

834

:

so No, Lucy Lawless allowed.

835

:

Laura: for sure.

836

:

Xhafer: Ben would've

837

:

exploded.

838

:

Laura: we find out that the

Pegasus Deck chief's name is Laird,

839

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

840

:

Laura: and he makes

841

:

Ben: cool.

842

:

I,

843

:

Xhafer: Well he's like,

what is this thing?

844

:

Right?

845

:

Like, what the fuck guys?

846

:

And then we find out that he's a a

real Leah Brahms type and designed

847

:

the engines that it's using.

848

:

Ben: and he is a civilian.

849

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

850

:

Laura: Yes.

851

:

I wanted to know more, which I, I don't

know if I have to wait till Razor to get

852

:

it, but like, how did we get a civilian?

853

:

Was he at the shipyard?

854

:

Dunno, or was he picked up somewhere else?

855

:

Ben: Yeah, we

856

:

also find out

857

:

Xhafer: me.

858

:

Laura: They, they both made the face guys

859

:

Ben: we also find out that Pegasus is just

resupplying Galactica and nobody else.

860

:

And this is the point where I'm just like,

Hey, Laura, Rosalyn, why didn't you just

861

:

make Adama your Secretary of defense?

862

:

Laura: right.

863

:

Ben: we, we cut this whole chain

of command thing off at the knees.

864

:

'cause she's just got this whole like,

well I kind like you being in charge,

865

:

but I guess we'll see how it goes.

866

:

It's like, you are the president, you

can do a thing to, to cause a thing.

867

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

868

:

Laura: I forgot to say

something about Laird

869

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

870

:

Go for it.

871

:

Laura: and my wondering about Laird.

872

:

I'm not entirely sure he came willingly.

873

:

You know what I mean?

874

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

875

:

Laura: eh

876

:

Ben: Well, I'm just wondering,

like you pick up a guy who just

877

:

happens to be a ship engineer

that feels a little convenient

878

:

Laura: uh oh, is it silent?

879

:

Ben: or is it stupid?

880

:

Xhafer: Do the face.

881

:

Laura: Oh.

882

:

There's the face.

883

:

Xhafer: Uh, Ty catches up with Papa Dama,

uh, with what he learned about Cain.

884

:

He brings up how important

context behind those actions are.

885

:

. I mean,

886

:

Ben: But it, they do get, Adama does

like, Hey we blew up a civilian ship

887

:

with a thousand people on it and like.

888

:

Laura: Allegedly.

889

:

Ben: And like Ty is immediately

like, yeah, but that like

890

:

there were reasons for it.

891

:

It's like, yeah, she doesn't

know That context matters dude.

892

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

893

:

Ben: And Ty's just like,

I don't understand.

894

:

It's like, that is why

you are not Commander.

895

:

Laura: Yeah.

896

:

Poor broken clock tie.

897

:

Sometimes he gets it, but

it's only twice a day.

898

:

Xhafer: uh, GTA's Counterpart brings

over the newest version of Windows

899

:

at the digital cultural library.

900

:

Gada asks about getting

a VPN set up in Texas.

901

:

Ben: Poor Victor.

902

:

Xhafer: it's apor porn joke.

903

:

Yeah.

904

:

Get, get ass if there's any porn in there.

905

:

Ben: I

906

:

Xhafer: it's a

907

:

Ben: poor

908

:

Xhafer: it's a funny scene.

909

:

Yeah.

910

:

Pour one out for Victor,

um, Rosalyn notes.

911

:

Kane is not taking her calls here.

912

:

Ben: Yeah.

913

:

Laura: Don't love that.

914

:

Don't love that.

915

:

Ben: But would you.

916

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

917

:

It's the president.

918

:

I feel like you're kind of

919

:

Ben: Is she?

920

:

Laura: I mean,

921

:

but see, here's the thing.

922

:

Like I, on the Pegasus, if I'm Cain,

I've rolled up with:

923

:

We've said,

924

:

right?

925

:

Ben: Mm-hmm.

926

:

Laura: There were 45,000

people on these ships.

927

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

928

:

Laura: I'm coming to their party.

929

:

I've gotta figure out where I fit.

930

:

And like

931

:

I, they, they seem to have

a thing that's working.

932

:

Like I

933

:

Ben: you've rolled up in

the biggest fanciest ship

934

:

you are pink the party.

935

:

Don't start till you walk in.

936

:

Xhafer: That's, that's Kesha.

937

:

Ben: That is Kesh.

938

:

Wait, what's the pink one?

939

:

Xhafer: I don't know,

940

:

I don't know.

941

:

but but you definitely

quoted the Kesha one.

942

:

Ben: That is Kesha.

943

:

Xhafer: You know, Kesha has a TV

show where that she goes ghost

944

:

hunting called Contra and Kesha.

945

:

Ben: Has she found a ghost?

946

:

Xhafer: I don't, I haven't watched it.

947

:

I, Beth just told me about it the

948

:

' Ben: cause ghosts aren't real.

949

:

Xhafer: Oh, well, yeah.

950

:

I mean, that's an opinion,

Ben, that you have.

951

:

I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna

insert myself into that one.

952

:

I know better.

953

:

Balls our heads over to the Pegasus.

954

:

Ben: six.

955

:

This is interesting.

956

:

I want to know your opinions on

this, Laura, because six PT is

957

:

showing up and being real miny

and shitty right up until they see

958

:

who the, the, uh, the prisoner is.

959

:

And then six PT is shook.

960

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

961

:

Crying.

962

:

Yeah.

963

:

Ben: Now if she is just some

six gen generic consciousness.

964

:

Would she be surprised?

965

:

Is she only surprised because she

is part of Baltar psychosis or is

966

:

she a specific six's point of view?

967

:

Who is surprised to see another six

968

:

Laura: If

969

:

Xhafer: has told us who she is.

970

:

She's an angel.

971

:

Those are

972

:

Ben: Hmm.

973

:

Laura: right, right, right.

974

:

But I, I don't believe any of that.

975

:

I don't, I don't know what six is still

but if she is a silent program inside

976

:

Gaia, she's not connected to the cloud.

977

:

Right.

978

:

She had no idea

979

:

Xhafer: She knows

980

:

stuff sometimes

981

:

Laura: here, but she didn't know this.

982

:

Ben: No.

983

:

Laura: She really didn't.

984

:

So

985

:

Xhafer: not.

986

:

Laura: the, the cloud is either

like, not perfect, like things don't

987

:

always upload to the cloud or that

you can become disconnected in waves

988

:

or something, or Maybe it's selective.

989

:

Maybe the six wasn't the, the prisoner

six wasn't uploading to the cloud on

990

:

purpose, to not jeopardize something.

991

:

I don't know,

992

:

Ben: Or I don't wanna remember this, I,

993

:

Xhafer: Yeah.

994

:

Trauma that'll happen.

995

:

Laura: Hmm.

996

:

Ben: but six PT does kind of go like, how

can you justify this torture and assault?

997

:

We only did a genocide.

998

:

It's

999

:

Laura: A light genocide.

:

00:45:19,416 --> 00:45:22,686

Ben: okay, like you ain't

got any moral high ground.

:

00:45:22,716 --> 00:45:24,336

Like this is bad.

:

00:45:25,086 --> 00:45:26,466

Do not get it twisted.

:

00:45:26,826 --> 00:45:30,396

But it's also like you guys

murdered billions of people.

:

00:45:31,491 --> 00:45:31,821

Xhafer: Yeah,

:

00:45:32,016 --> 00:45:32,306

Laura: yeah,

:

00:45:33,120 --> 00:45:33,600

Xhafer: I mean,

:

00:45:34,215 --> 00:45:35,150

Ben: you're both wrong.

:

00:45:36,390 --> 00:45:36,630

Laura: Yeah.

:

00:45:36,660 --> 00:45:37,500

It can be two

:

00:45:37,500 --> 00:45:38,040

things.

:

00:45:38,465 --> 00:45:38,755

yeah.

:

00:45:39,484 --> 00:45:44,584

Xhafer: Um, so anyways, this is

a incredibly abused six model.

:

00:45:45,064 --> 00:45:48,814

I'm gonna, I spoiled it for Laura

already, that, uh, this, this is

:

00:45:48,814 --> 00:45:51,094

Gina, is this character's name.

:

00:45:51,154 --> 00:45:55,084

We don't get it this episode, but for the

sake of talking about two sixes in the

:

00:45:55,084 --> 00:46:00,934

same room where, and being a audio format

instead of a video format where we can

:

00:46:00,934 --> 00:46:03,304

see which one we're talking about clearly.

:

00:46:03,884 --> 00:46:06,674

For the sake of context, I've ruined it.

:

00:46:07,169 --> 00:46:07,889

Uh, so

:

00:46:08,579 --> 00:46:08,789

yeah.

:

00:46:08,984 --> 00:46:10,994

Ben: If we're gonna talk about

context, I need to get my crown.

:

00:46:11,609 --> 00:46:13,349

Xhafer: Yeah, that's fair.

:

00:46:14,126 --> 00:46:14,186

Hmm.

:

00:46:14,291 --> 00:46:17,861

Laura: it seems like it could be a thing

coming up that when we meet different

:

00:46:17,861 --> 00:46:21,071

six models, they all have different

names, which would be interesting.

:

00:46:21,701 --> 00:46:22,151

Xhafer: I mean,

:

00:46:23,081 --> 00:46:25,031

Laura: Oh, Ben's actually

going to get his crown.

:

00:46:25,691 --> 00:46:26,111

Okay.

:

00:46:26,831 --> 00:46:29,141

I don't know how you're gonna

put headphones on with Okay.

:

00:46:29,141 --> 00:46:29,861

behind your head.

:

00:46:29,861 --> 00:46:30,401

Okay, good.

:

00:46:33,460 --> 00:46:34,090

Ben: I've got one.

:

00:46:34,090 --> 00:46:34,720

I have to wear it.

:

00:46:35,492 --> 00:46:38,492

Laura: There's not enough opportunities

to wear a crown in daily life.

:

00:46:38,492 --> 00:46:40,472

It's just really unfortunate.

:

00:46:40,907 --> 00:46:41,357

Ben: It's true.

:

00:46:41,828 --> 00:46:46,658

But, uh, we do get baltar here

going like, Hey, she's catatonic.

:

00:46:47,468 --> 00:46:50,198

This implies that there

is a psyche to break.

:

00:46:51,248 --> 00:46:52,628

Which I, which is interesting.

:

00:46:52,628 --> 00:46:58,658

It's like you, you would imagine like

if I was designing a brain, you'd make

:

00:46:58,658 --> 00:47:02,768

it be able to like compartmentalize

and like realize, hey, the only person

:

00:47:02,768 --> 00:47:04,418

in here is a dweeb, be scientist.

:

00:47:04,568 --> 00:47:07,118

Snap his neck and go

out the door, you know?

:

00:47:09,053 --> 00:47:09,443

Laura: Yeah.

:

00:47:09,593 --> 00:47:09,773

Yeah.

:

00:47:09,773 --> 00:47:10,133

Yeah.

:

00:47:10,433 --> 00:47:12,023

I sure hope in this scene.

:

00:47:12,383 --> 00:47:19,373

That Pegasus doesn't have those CCTVs

and is like taping guy Balter because we

:

00:47:19,373 --> 00:47:25,553

have a whole moment where he takes six

PT aside and is like holding her hands.

:

00:47:25,973 --> 00:47:31,973

And you know, she's very distraught

and explaining like, I have to do this.

:

00:47:32,183 --> 00:47:34,283

You probably need to go away.

:

00:47:34,523 --> 00:47:37,853

It's really upsetting you,

but I have to help her.

:

00:47:38,183 --> 00:47:42,353

And it's like, that would

look so fucking bonkers.

:

00:47:42,353 --> 00:47:46,253

I mean, there's guards outside who should

presumably be watching them, watching him

:

00:47:46,253 --> 00:47:46,673

be so

:

00:47:46,888 --> 00:47:48,408

Ben: not used to him being a weirdo.

:

00:47:49,703 --> 00:47:54,173

Xhafer: neither is Cain who like catches

him talking to other people a bunch

:

00:47:54,383 --> 00:47:56,693

and is clearly not used to it yet.

:

00:47:56,978 --> 00:48:00,758

And reacts very differently than

every other character in the show.

:

00:48:00,998 --> 00:48:03,458

Everyone else at this point is

just all like, yeah, whatever.

:

00:48:03,458 --> 00:48:05,348

Gaius talks to himself, we know.

:

00:48:05,528 --> 00:48:08,018

She's all like, who the

fuck are you talking to?

:

00:48:08,838 --> 00:48:09,258

Laura: Mm-hmm.

:

00:48:10,013 --> 00:48:11,093

I do like that.

:

00:48:11,288 --> 00:48:16,448

Ben: but she can't get a a, a

like CCT TV thing of like six PT.

:

00:48:16,568 --> 00:48:20,078

It's too expensive to have you in the

foreground and background right now.

:

00:48:20,078 --> 00:48:21,428

So you need to go away.

:

00:48:22,268 --> 00:48:23,768

Laura: We can only have one of you.

:

00:48:23,768 --> 00:48:25,478

That's all we can afford right now.

:

00:48:27,523 --> 00:48:27,813

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:48:28,248 --> 00:48:32,658

So bringing up the psychological

healing, he gets caned to agree to

:

00:48:32,658 --> 00:48:35,868

food, bathing clothes, the basics.

:

00:48:36,113 --> 00:48:36,533

Ben: Mm-hmm.

:

00:48:36,858 --> 00:48:37,098

Laura: Yeah.

:

00:48:37,548 --> 00:48:38,868

He says Too much stick.

:

00:48:38,868 --> 00:48:39,768

Not enough carrot.

:

00:48:39,858 --> 00:48:40,248

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:48:41,328 --> 00:48:44,868

Meanwhile, Adama is checking

out Kane's gun collection as she

:

00:48:44,868 --> 00:48:46,668

starts talking recent history

:

00:48:47,073 --> 00:48:47,293

Ben: and,

:

00:48:47,413 --> 00:48:49,818

I was curious, Jair, do you

have a rant about this room

:

00:48:50,494 --> 00:48:51,064

Xhafer: I mean.

:

00:48:52,009 --> 00:48:52,159

A

:

00:48:52,219 --> 00:48:54,379

Ben: because you had a whole

rant about sailing ships.

:

00:48:54,409 --> 00:48:56,989

Shouldn't you also have a

rant about Flintlock Pistols?

:

00:48:57,499 --> 00:48:57,799

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:48:57,859 --> 00:49:00,409

No, Ben, it had definitely occurred to me.

:

00:49:00,559 --> 00:49:06,019

Don't get me wrong, that a flintlock

pistol is possibly more out of

:

00:49:06,019 --> 00:49:07,789

place than the wooden sailing ship.

:

00:49:08,749 --> 00:49:10,934

Why would you have a flintlock pistol?

:

00:49:11,084 --> 00:49:13,424

I, that makes absolutely no sense.

:

00:49:13,784 --> 00:49:15,404

Uh, this was not lost on me.

:

00:49:15,774 --> 00:49:16,344

For sure.

:

00:49:16,344 --> 00:49:20,844

I avoided the rant because it was

going to just be a copy paste of the

:

00:49:20,844 --> 00:49:22,704

one I did a couple of episodes ago.

:

00:49:22,789 --> 00:49:25,559

Ben: Just remove boat, add Flintlock,

:

00:49:25,739 --> 00:49:26,029

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:49:26,124 --> 00:49:27,534

Aaron, actually, can you just

:

00:49:27,534 --> 00:49:34,434

copy paste my, my old rant and

just whenever I say boat, just

:

00:49:34,434 --> 00:49:36,294

replace it with the word gun.

:

00:49:36,624 --> 00:49:37,554

That would be great.

:

00:49:37,554 --> 00:49:37,944

Thanks.

:

00:49:37,944 --> 00:49:39,984

I'm sure that's not a

lot of that work for you.

:

00:49:41,399 --> 00:49:42,444

Laura: The, the gun.

:

00:49:42,744 --> 00:49:47,124

I can almost make a little devil's

advocate argument of like, perhaps

:

00:49:47,124 --> 00:49:49,554

we had artifacts we fled COBOL with,

:

00:49:49,974 --> 00:49:53,049

Ben: well, but it's also at that

point, they would've had writing and.

:

00:49:53,754 --> 00:49:54,144

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:49:55,044 --> 00:49:55,674

Ben: and stuff.

:

00:49:56,137 --> 00:49:59,797

Laura: But I, I'm saying like if you

fled COBOL with these artifacts and

:

00:49:59,797 --> 00:50:02,767

then they just kind of hung around like,

:

00:50:03,337 --> 00:50:04,507

Xhafer: Just:

:

00:50:04,597 --> 00:50:05,437

Laura: they're like, expense.

:

00:50:05,437 --> 00:50:09,907

This is like her showing off like, I

am well compensated enough to afford

:

00:50:09,907 --> 00:50:12,427

one of the artifact flintlock pistols.

:

00:50:13,327 --> 00:50:13,867

Like,

:

00:50:13,957 --> 00:50:17,557

Xhafer: would think anything you

brought from COBOL is in a museum,

:

00:50:18,165 --> 00:50:19,665

Ben: You haven't met enough rich people.

:

00:50:20,025 --> 00:50:20,715

Xhafer: that's fair.

:

00:50:21,345 --> 00:50:22,065

Um,

:

00:50:23,565 --> 00:50:24,975

Ben: Cage had a dinosaur head.

:

00:50:26,198 --> 00:50:26,888

Laura: I believe that.

:

00:50:27,083 --> 00:50:27,463

Ben: He did?

:

00:50:27,463 --> 00:50:28,778

He had a T-Rex skull.

:

00:50:29,153 --> 00:50:29,513

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:50:30,091 --> 00:50:33,571

Also like it's a bunch of guns

that are just like sitting in

:

00:50:33,571 --> 00:50:37,741

like velvet boxes that are not

glass enclosed, which bothers me.

:

00:50:38,626 --> 00:50:39,556

Ben: Oh, in a spaceship.

:

00:50:39,556 --> 00:50:40,036

Yeah.

:

00:50:40,471 --> 00:50:40,981

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:50:41,596 --> 00:50:44,086

Ben: soon as you get a banger dropped

on, you're just like, oh my shit.

:

00:50:44,656 --> 00:50:44,946

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:50:45,136 --> 00:50:45,426

It's,

:

00:50:45,606 --> 00:50:45,956

Laura: Right?

:

00:50:46,831 --> 00:50:50,971

Xhafer: you need to lock every compartment

for when you lose stabilization.

:

00:50:51,631 --> 00:50:56,611

Like it's like, you gotta remember,

have you ever like ridden in an RV

:

00:50:57,211 --> 00:50:57,661

Ben: Mm-hmm.

:

00:50:57,661 --> 00:50:58,471

Xhafer: or a boat

:

00:50:59,131 --> 00:51:03,421

and just imagine all of those closed

cabinets that we're holding everything.

:

00:51:03,601 --> 00:51:06,601

Just open all of them before your trip.

:

00:51:08,251 --> 00:51:09,511

That's what this is like.

:

00:51:10,801 --> 00:51:12,811

Ben: We also get a fun moment

where she's just like, alright,

:

00:51:12,811 --> 00:51:13,741

I found this cool place.

:

00:51:13,741 --> 00:51:16,561

We're gonna do a strike and

Adama's just like a strike.

:

00:51:16,741 --> 00:51:17,581

Hell yeah.

:

00:51:17,581 --> 00:51:20,041

And she's like, oh, you're down.

:

00:51:20,251 --> 00:51:23,161

I was, I was getting ready to

be like, Hey, you have to stop

:

00:51:23,371 --> 00:51:27,126

babysitting all these, these, you

know, these pathetic, civilians

:

00:51:27,126 --> 00:51:28,656

and, you know, do an attack with me.

:

00:51:28,776 --> 00:51:30,036

He's like, no man.

:

00:51:30,036 --> 00:51:32,466

I'm totally down to

shoot up some cylon shit.

:

00:51:33,711 --> 00:51:34,941

Xhafer: Fuck them Toasters.

:

00:51:35,031 --> 00:51:36,111

Let's do this.

:

00:51:36,756 --> 00:51:37,026

Laura: Yeah.

:

00:51:37,026 --> 00:51:37,506

Yeah.

:

00:51:37,566 --> 00:51:38,196

So.

:

00:51:38,541 --> 00:51:41,091

He gets to coordinate the plans.

:

00:51:41,141 --> 00:51:45,611

But surprise, we have some

personnel reassignments,

:

00:51:46,301 --> 00:51:47,081

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:51:47,276 --> 00:51:51,086

Ben: And she's like, Hey, your

son, he's done a lot of treason.

:

00:51:52,841 --> 00:51:53,591

Xhafer: Not wrong.

:

00:51:54,196 --> 00:51:54,486

Laura: yeah,

:

00:51:56,756 --> 00:52:00,056

Ben: He's like, she,

he's done treason twice.

:

00:52:00,766 --> 00:52:01,056

Laura: kids.

:

00:52:01,236 --> 00:52:02,016

Am I right?

:

00:52:05,321 --> 00:52:05,591

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:52:05,591 --> 00:52:06,701

Starbucks too.

:

00:52:07,001 --> 00:52:10,781

She's, she's moving Hilo and

Ty, we're gonna watch out for

:

00:52:10,781 --> 00:52:13,601

them, but for the purposes of the

plot, I'm not moving them yet.

:

00:52:14,461 --> 00:52:14,881

Ben: mm-hmm.

:

00:52:15,341 --> 00:52:17,231

And adama's just like, I don't agree.

:

00:52:17,231 --> 00:52:19,451

And she's just like, too bad, so sad.

:

00:52:20,651 --> 00:52:21,791

Let me know when you're an admiral.

:

00:52:22,646 --> 00:52:28,376

Laura: And when, when Papa Dama

has to go tell Lee and Uck, I

:

00:52:28,376 --> 00:52:30,386

mean, this is family right here.

:

00:52:30,386 --> 00:52:32,396

They, they're like, dad, no,

:

00:52:32,626 --> 00:52:36,311

Ben: And Daddy, daddy, I don't want

to go to the other Battlestar Daddy.

:

00:52:36,791 --> 00:52:38,111

You can't make me go daddy.

:

00:52:38,111 --> 00:52:38,531

It's like.

:

00:52:39,386 --> 00:52:40,466

Where do you think you work?

:

00:52:40,766 --> 00:52:41,666

Laura: Hmm.

:

00:52:42,176 --> 00:52:43,046

Yeah.

:

00:52:43,766 --> 00:52:44,576

Yeah.

:

00:52:44,846 --> 00:52:45,446

Xhafer: Ready?

:

00:52:45,900 --> 00:52:50,885

Laura: And then we get to see how well

Starbuck actually fits into a real

:

00:52:50,885 --> 00:52:56,255

Battlestar chain of command as the

Pegasus CG starts explaining their photo

:

00:52:56,255 --> 00:52:59,382

recon mission, and she has thoughts.

:

00:53:01,372 --> 00:53:03,232

Xhafer: Yeah, she talks a bunch of shit.

:

00:53:03,892 --> 00:53:05,242

Uh, it gets threatened with the Bri.

:

00:53:10,201 --> 00:53:10,321

Ben: Yeah.

:

00:53:10,326 --> 00:53:13,021

The CAG is like a talking a

lot of shit for somebody who's

:

00:53:13,141 --> 00:53:14,461

not going on this mission.

:

00:53:14,461 --> 00:53:15,631

She's like, what?

:

00:53:15,871 --> 00:53:16,741

She's like, I don't care.

:

00:53:17,431 --> 00:53:18,451

You can stay the fuck home.

:

00:53:19,126 --> 00:53:19,576

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:53:20,146 --> 00:53:26,056

Lee and Starbuck make a quick plan to do

the recon mission in the Blackbird instead

:

00:53:27,166 --> 00:53:28,906

Laura: and this is just wild to me.

:

00:53:28,906 --> 00:53:32,536

Like how does she just like

get off Pegasus and go get the

:

00:53:32,536 --> 00:53:34,786

Blackbird, but don't worry about it.

:

00:53:36,736 --> 00:53:38,506

Xhafer: the actual Ron Moore Wizard.

:

00:53:38,806 --> 00:53:40,366

Magic of the episode.

:

00:53:41,336 --> 00:53:41,996

Starbuck

:

00:53:41,996 --> 00:53:44,996

leaving a military installation in space.

:

00:53:45,371 --> 00:53:47,531

Ben: yeah, we find out like,

Hey, where'd the blackbird go?

:

00:53:47,681 --> 00:53:48,941

Oh, Lieutenant threes took it.

:

00:53:48,941 --> 00:53:50,201

It's like how

:

00:53:52,376 --> 00:53:53,216

Laura: Exactly.

:

00:53:53,396 --> 00:53:57,236

And literally we just cut from them

deciding she's gonna go get the Black

:

00:53:57,296 --> 00:54:01,226

Blackbird and do it anyway to Tyre

going, Hey, where's the Blackbird?

:

00:54:01,811 --> 00:54:04,211

Ben: yeah, it's, it'd be like

Ja fair if you called me up and

:

00:54:04,211 --> 00:54:05,291

like, Hey Ben, can you pick me up?

:

00:54:05,291 --> 00:54:07,601

And I'm like, why Laura borrowed my car?

:

00:54:08,531 --> 00:54:09,251

How?

:

00:54:12,811 --> 00:54:14,251

Xhafer: I missed a couple of steps.

:

00:54:14,771 --> 00:54:15,431

Ben: Yes.

:

00:54:15,806 --> 00:54:19,466

Laura: Yeah, but we don't have

time to think about that because

:

00:54:19,466 --> 00:54:23,216

we have the Pegasus crewmen getting

their booze and getting rowdy.

:

00:54:23,216 --> 00:54:26,006

Presumably Pegasus does

not have a still, right?

:

00:54:26,366 --> 00:54:27,386

Ben: It seems like not.

:

00:54:27,929 --> 00:54:29,699

I don't think Kane would be down.

:

00:54:30,389 --> 00:54:30,719

Laura: Yeah.

:

00:54:30,969 --> 00:54:32,619

They start joking

:

00:54:32,979 --> 00:54:33,639

about

:

00:54:33,909 --> 00:54:39,009

Cylon rape and Terl to his

credit, does try to tell them to

:

00:54:39,009 --> 00:54:41,409

shut up politely at this point.

:

00:54:41,529 --> 00:54:43,599

Ben: These guys cannot read a room.

:

00:54:43,959 --> 00:54:44,559

Laura: No.

:

00:54:45,129 --> 00:54:45,549

Nope.

:

00:54:46,465 --> 00:54:50,965

I mean, they don't know about

any of the details of Sharon.

:

00:54:50,965 --> 00:54:51,565

Right.

:

00:54:51,870 --> 00:54:59,275

Ben: but it's also like they are on

Galactica and everybody on Galactica.

:

00:54:59,665 --> 00:55:02,395

Even Callie who shot Boomer

:

00:55:03,284 --> 00:55:05,264

is Just like, Hey, fuck you.

:

00:55:05,864 --> 00:55:06,224

Laura: Yeah.

:

00:55:06,914 --> 00:55:09,014

Ben: Like you are in hostile territory.

:

00:55:09,014 --> 00:55:12,511

This is like, They are surrounded

by like a dozen people who now

:

00:55:12,511 --> 00:55:14,401

like, want to kick their ass.

:

00:55:15,421 --> 00:55:17,161

This is the sort of thing you pick up on.

:

00:55:18,721 --> 00:55:19,081

Laura: yeah.

:

00:55:19,471 --> 00:55:21,961

No, they've, they haven't

had booze in too long.

:

00:55:22,051 --> 00:55:25,441

They're, they're being

clouded by that shine.

:

00:55:25,728 --> 00:55:26,268

Ben: Oh, don't worry.

:

00:55:26,268 --> 00:55:28,818

Lieutenant Thorn Will,

will rougher up just right.

:

00:55:28,818 --> 00:55:34,608

And it's like, okay, we, our bad,

our, our Pegasus crew are Cane

:

00:55:34,698 --> 00:55:40,898

Fisk and Thorn and it's just like

nobody has a not bad guy name.

:

00:55:42,218 --> 00:55:42,338

Laura: Yeah.

:

00:55:42,338 --> 00:55:43,808

These are all very aggressive

:

00:55:44,078 --> 00:55:47,468

Ben: Like if you told me like, and

Spider-Man showed up and beat up Kane

:

00:55:47,468 --> 00:55:49,508

Fis and Thorn, I'd be like, yeah.

:

00:55:49,673 --> 00:55:49,973

Xhafer: yeah.

:

00:55:49,973 --> 00:55:51,923

That, that, that happens.

:

00:55:52,737 --> 00:55:59,217

Ben: so we get Thorn going into

interview slash Abu abuse Boomer,

:

00:55:59,247 --> 00:56:00,657

or not Boomer, uh, Sharon.

:

00:56:01,527 --> 00:56:03,267

And he's just like, what is this ship?

:

00:56:03,267 --> 00:56:04,407

And she's like, I don't know.

:

00:56:04,827 --> 00:56:09,477

And he immediately goes to, and now

I will sexually assault you until

:

00:56:09,477 --> 00:56:10,947

you tell me what I want to know.

:

00:56:11,007 --> 00:56:14,367

And it's just like, where

are the Galactica guards?

:

00:56:14,728 --> 00:56:15,238

Laura: yeah.

:

00:56:15,840 --> 00:56:18,990

' Uh, presumably they're like

outside the room going, what?

:

00:56:19,521 --> 00:56:22,221

, But like, chain of commanded into silence,

:

00:56:22,371 --> 00:56:23,841

Ben: but it's like he's a lieutenant.

:

00:56:23,841 --> 00:56:27,081

Like I have to imagine there

is a captain of the guard

:

00:56:27,081 --> 00:56:29,481

somewhere who could be like, no.

:

00:56:30,351 --> 00:56:32,781

Laura: Somebody pick up

that phone and call him.

:

00:56:33,021 --> 00:56:35,391

They've gotta have a

phone in that room, right?

:

00:56:36,051 --> 00:56:39,861

Ben: Where's the sergeant in

arms to be like, Hey, don't, um,

:

00:56:40,123 --> 00:56:46,273

Laura: This is absolutely wild,

and I just can't get behind.

:

00:56:46,273 --> 00:56:50,951

Kane can't, cannot, like to allow this.

:

00:56:51,816 --> 00:56:53,651

I, I just, I, I can't.

:

00:56:54,386 --> 00:56:54,836

Xhafer: Yep.

:

00:56:55,286 --> 00:56:55,736

There's more

:

00:56:55,736 --> 00:56:55,976

to

:

00:56:55,976 --> 00:56:56,196

Ben: bad.

:

00:56:56,880 --> 00:56:59,610

Xhafer: I'm not, I'm not

justifying her at all, to be clear.

:

00:56:59,940 --> 00:57:02,475

I'm just, I'm just noting

that you will learn more.

:

00:57:03,615 --> 00:57:03,945

Laura: Yeah.

:

00:57:04,215 --> 00:57:08,145

Well, they did tell us one thing about the

six was that she had killed seven of their

:

00:57:08,145 --> 00:57:08,715

men,

:

00:57:08,795 --> 00:57:09,085

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:57:09,945 --> 00:57:10,335

Laura: but.

:

00:57:11,830 --> 00:57:14,925

Ben: That is also one thing where

it's just like, sometimes it's

:

00:57:14,925 --> 00:57:19,575

inconsistent where it's just like,

why is Sharon letting him beat her up?

:

00:57:20,100 --> 00:57:23,970

Like, I understand she's surprised and

shocked, but it's also like, where's

:

00:57:23,970 --> 00:57:29,010

the crazy cylon strength that like,

lets six rip the, or bin, rip the

:

00:57:29,010 --> 00:57:32,293

table lo uh, off of its bolts, you

:

00:57:32,448 --> 00:57:32,868

Xhafer: Mm-hmm.

:

00:57:33,583 --> 00:57:35,983

Laura: Have we ever seen that

kind of strength from a Sharon?

:

00:57:36,793 --> 00:57:38,263

Trying to, trying to remember.

:

00:57:39,193 --> 00:57:40,783

Ben: I don't know.

:

00:57:41,528 --> 00:57:42,383

Laura: We've seen it from a

:

00:57:43,148 --> 00:57:43,538

Ben: Yeah.

:

00:57:44,168 --> 00:57:46,538

Oh, when she like fought with Starbucks,

:

00:57:46,538 --> 00:57:49,661

like she, you know, was

kicking the crap outta him.

:

00:57:49,661 --> 00:57:54,041

It's just like, why can't Sharon like

mule kick this guy through a window?

:

00:57:54,136 --> 00:57:54,426

Laura: Yeah,

:

00:57:54,776 --> 00:57:58,346

Xhafer: I mean, she's going through a lot,

:

00:57:59,276 --> 00:58:01,076

so Yeah.

:

00:58:02,536 --> 00:58:02,656

Laura: Hmm.

:

00:58:03,461 --> 00:58:06,821

Ben: This is not me trying to be like,

well, why didn't she defend herself?

:

00:58:06,821 --> 00:58:07,091

It's just

:

00:58:07,091 --> 00:58:08,411

like, Hey, the writing's

:

00:58:08,456 --> 00:58:10,586

Xhafer: yeah, no, that's, I don't think

:

00:58:10,661 --> 00:58:13,421

Laura: but I, I'm wondering if,

if we've ever seen a Sharon behave

:

00:58:13,421 --> 00:58:17,741

this way, if there's some sort

of problem with the Sharon model.

:

00:58:18,566 --> 00:58:19,136

Xhafer: I think

:

00:58:19,151 --> 00:58:22,091

Laura: mean, 'cause they've kind of

implied to us that there might be problems

:

00:58:22,091 --> 00:58:24,941

with the Sharon model, like inconsistent.

:

00:58:24,941 --> 00:58:28,151

Like it, it, she didn't follow

her orders Boomer right away.

:

00:58:28,151 --> 00:58:30,251

She was like trying to fight

her programming and stuff.

:

00:58:30,251 --> 00:58:33,971

And, but it's the six I wonder

a little more about, 'cause it's

:

00:58:33,971 --> 00:58:35,981

like, well, she killed seven men.

:

00:58:36,431 --> 00:58:41,276

How exactly did they subdue that, that

cy strength in order for that to happen?

:

00:58:41,681 --> 00:58:43,634

But yeah.

:

00:58:43,634 --> 00:58:43,694

Yeah.

:

00:58:44,339 --> 00:58:46,799

Xhafer: Tero and Hilo realize

what's about to happen here.

:

00:58:47,849 --> 00:58:51,119

They run down to try and stop it.

:

00:58:51,449 --> 00:58:56,009

In the process they accidentally

kill Thorn, uh, they put his

:

00:58:56,009 --> 00:58:58,289

head into a bolt sticking out

:

00:58:58,304 --> 00:59:04,334

Ben: Which is on the inside of the cell,

which implies that the person inside

:

00:59:04,334 --> 00:59:05,654

the cell could disassemble the cell.

:

00:59:06,794 --> 00:59:07,094

Laura: Oh

:

00:59:07,274 --> 00:59:09,164

Ben: It's bad cell design.

:

00:59:09,869 --> 00:59:09,929

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:59:09,929 --> 00:59:11,309

Bad prison design for sure.

:

00:59:11,751 --> 00:59:11,901

Laura: Mm-hmm.

:

00:59:12,549 --> 00:59:16,569

Ben: but then we have our bit here where

it's like, Hey, one of your guys is dead.

:

00:59:16,930 --> 00:59:23,200

and there's a very terse call

between Cain and Adama where

:

00:59:23,200 --> 00:59:24,670

he's like, they need a trial.

:

00:59:24,670 --> 00:59:26,650

And she's like, you ignore trials.

:

00:59:26,650 --> 00:59:27,790

What are you talking about?

:

00:59:27,850 --> 00:59:30,700

And he's like, you aren't

supposed to use my own history

:

00:59:30,700 --> 00:59:31,510

against me,

:

00:59:32,650 --> 00:59:35,650

Laura: Right, She says the last

time you had an independent trial,

:

00:59:35,650 --> 00:59:38,140

you, uh, disbanded it when it

:

00:59:38,290 --> 00:59:39,760

wasn't doing what you liked.

:

00:59:40,413 --> 00:59:45,063

Xhafer: Uh, we cut over to Baltar who

brings Gina some apples and toast?

:

00:59:46,078 --> 00:59:46,648

Um,

:

00:59:47,038 --> 00:59:49,858

Ben: is crying as she,

as she eats this fruit.

:

00:59:50,758 --> 00:59:50,998

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

00:59:50,998 --> 00:59:59,188

He tells her who he is and why she is

familiar and vis-a-vis important to him.

:

01:00:00,028 --> 01:00:06,373

Laura: And again, really, really hope

that this room is not bugged on guys

:

01:00:06,373 --> 01:00:12,793

Baltar's behalf, because again, this is

gonna be really weird and suspicious.

:

01:00:12,898 --> 01:00:16,528

Xhafer: I mean, at that point you're just

like, I'm just fucking lying to the cy.

:

01:00:17,158 --> 01:00:17,488

Why?

:

01:00:17,518 --> 01:00:17,848

Why?

:

01:00:18,268 --> 01:00:19,288

Why would you think that?

:

01:00:20,188 --> 01:00:21,118

Anything else?

:

01:00:21,568 --> 01:00:27,478

I feel like at a certain point you get

so ridiculous that it's all like, yeah,

:

01:00:27,478 --> 01:00:32,818

I'm just gonna, you know, casually talk

about my love affair with a asylum in

:

01:00:32,818 --> 01:00:36,508

the Ministry of Defense or whatever

before the, right, before the attack.

:

01:00:36,868 --> 01:00:37,288

Like,

:

01:00:37,648 --> 01:00:38,038

Laura: Yeah.

:

01:00:38,950 --> 01:00:39,190

Yeah.

:

01:00:39,310 --> 01:00:39,730

Xhafer: yeah.

:

01:00:39,790 --> 01:00:40,090

Laura: know.

:

01:00:40,150 --> 01:00:43,570

This gets you on some kind of a

watch list, even if you say I'm

:

01:00:43,570 --> 01:00:48,760

lying to the silent, like somebody's

gonna tap your phone in your cabin.

:

01:00:50,620 --> 01:00:53,740

Xhafer: Lee is out on his mission,

and man, Pegasus kegs suck.

:

01:00:54,445 --> 01:00:56,212

Laura: Yeah, he really does.

:

01:00:56,452 --> 01:01:00,052

Xhafer: Kelly's waiting outside of

Papa's office for news on Tiro and

:

01:01:00,052 --> 01:01:04,762

before he can make it down the hall,

the court martial is over guilty

:

01:01:04,972 --> 01:01:06,982

execution for murder and treason.

:

01:01:07,612 --> 01:01:09,562

Ben: I mean, they did do it.

:

01:01:10,522 --> 01:01:14,572

Xhafer: They got like three Marines

right there who were on all testify

:

01:01:14,632 --> 01:01:15,817

that that's exactly what happened.

:

01:01:16,852 --> 01:01:17,272

Ben: Yeah.

:

01:01:17,692 --> 01:01:23,152

We were interrogating the Robit and they

got mad and killed Lieutenant Thorn.

:

01:01:24,142 --> 01:01:25,402

Did you not kill Lieutenant Thorn?

:

01:01:25,402 --> 01:01:25,822

We did.

:

01:01:25,822 --> 01:01:26,572

It was an accident.

:

01:01:26,662 --> 01:01:28,552

Did you, you still

killed him though, right?

:

01:01:28,792 --> 01:01:30,322

Yeah, treason.

:

01:01:30,978 --> 01:01:31,428

Laura: Yeah,

:

01:01:31,818 --> 01:01:33,318

Ben: You killed a Huon for a robit.

:

01:01:34,403 --> 01:01:34,623

Xhafer: Yep.

:

01:01:35,209 --> 01:01:38,629

Laura: for some reason, and I don't

know if it was something about when

:

01:01:38,629 --> 01:01:43,669

Cali runs to Papa dama and is trying

to appeal to him, I wrote at the end

:

01:01:43,669 --> 01:01:45,589

of this, Cali is a fucking problem.

:

01:01:46,609 --> 01:01:49,729

have a feeling that Cali is a problem.

:

01:01:50,479 --> 01:01:52,129

Like, oh, here comes the face.

:

01:01:54,694 --> 01:01:55,684

Xhafer: Just you wait.

:

01:01:56,869 --> 01:02:00,199

Laura: She, I think this is the

second or third time now that she's

:

01:02:00,199 --> 01:02:06,499

like, run to Papa dama and put on

her baddest eyelashes and like,

:

01:02:06,559 --> 01:02:10,129

please, please help me Papa dama.

:

01:02:10,129 --> 01:02:11,389

And I'm just like, I don't know.

:

01:02:12,199 --> 01:02:12,679

love it.

:

01:02:13,864 --> 01:02:15,334

I don't love it.

:

01:02:17,044 --> 01:02:19,009

Xhafer: Well, well, I'm

not gonna touch this.

:

01:02:21,934 --> 01:02:24,874

Ben: Laura, how much

do you know about N xm?

:

01:02:26,579 --> 01:02:29,163

Xhafer: no, we do not

need to talk about that

:

01:02:29,704 --> 01:02:32,434

Laura: was this, was this the

actress who was involved with that?

:

01:02:32,494 --> 01:02:32,884

Ben: Yes.

:

01:02:33,754 --> 01:02:34,654

Laura: Oh

:

01:02:34,714 --> 01:02:35,824

Ben: Was a fucking problem.

:

01:02:37,413 --> 01:02:37,864

Xhafer: yeah.

:

01:02:37,894 --> 01:02:38,404

Laura: yeah.

:

01:02:40,924 --> 01:02:42,064

That's a different day.

:

01:02:42,484 --> 01:02:43,654

We'll, we'll cover

:

01:02:43,714 --> 01:02:44,254

Xhafer: there.

:

01:02:44,764 --> 01:02:46,384

Grace Park was in there.

:

01:02:47,675 --> 01:02:47,915

Laura: No.

:

01:02:50,140 --> 01:02:51,455

Oh gosh.

:

01:02:52,010 --> 01:02:56,780

Xhafer: I mean, she's since been

cleared of everything and is a

:

01:02:56,780 --> 01:03:03,770

victim, and I think, I don't know

if Callie's in jail still, Callie

:

01:03:03,935 --> 01:03:04,565

Laura: Still.

:

01:03:04,730 --> 01:03:05,360

Xhafer: a while,

:

01:03:05,705 --> 01:03:06,155

Laura: Okay.

:

01:03:07,280 --> 01:03:11,690

Xhafer: for being more active on

the recruiting side of the human

:

01:03:11,690 --> 01:03:13,415

trafficking part of that operation.

:

01:03:15,195 --> 01:03:15,795

Laura: Cool.

:

01:03:15,975 --> 01:03:16,365

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

01:03:16,545 --> 01:03:23,095

I'm, I'm pretty sure I, I will, uh, I will

revoke sentences if I am incorrect and

:

01:03:23,155 --> 01:03:27,925

Ben: I am sure there are several True

crime podcasts that go all into it,

:

01:03:28,045 --> 01:03:28,465

Xhafer: yeah,

:

01:03:28,675 --> 01:03:30,565

Laura: go find one of those guys.

:

01:03:30,565 --> 01:03:30,595

Uh,

:

01:03:30,715 --> 01:03:33,367

Xhafer: not, I'm not someone

who's doing research on crime.

:

01:03:33,367 --> 01:03:34,147

Someone committed.

:

01:03:34,237 --> 01:03:36,037

That's not what we do here.

:

01:03:37,057 --> 01:03:39,997

Ben: but more importantly,

Adama calls up Kane and is

:

01:03:39,997 --> 01:03:41,137

like, Hey, I'm getting my people

:

01:03:41,467 --> 01:03:41,917

Xhafer: yeah.

:

01:03:42,607 --> 01:03:43,387

Ben: Saul, what are we

:

01:03:43,627 --> 01:03:44,587

Xhafer: justify it.

:

01:03:44,857 --> 01:03:46,327

Put them on that fucking raptor.

:

01:03:47,077 --> 01:03:49,382

Ben: Yeah, we are launching Vipers.

:

01:03:50,287 --> 01:03:52,657

Laura: yeah, he, he wants that jury trial.

:

01:03:52,657 --> 01:03:53,797

He wants them back.

:

01:03:53,909 --> 01:03:56,159

Uh, She's dictator for life.

:

01:03:56,159 --> 01:03:57,029

No, thanks.

:

01:03:57,419 --> 01:03:58,199

And

:

01:03:58,926 --> 01:04:02,226

Ben: This was a To be continued,

that kicked you like, no.

:

01:04:03,096 --> 01:04:04,266

Laura: right in the nuts.

:

01:04:04,266 --> 01:04:04,686

Right.

:

01:04:04,731 --> 01:04:05,181

Xhafer: yeah.

:

01:04:05,691 --> 01:04:06,051

yeah.

:

01:04:06,111 --> 01:04:07,761

Pegasus launches their vipers.

:

01:04:07,761 --> 01:04:10,031

They target galactic's main guns.

:

01:04:10,331 --> 01:04:10,991

We cut to two.

:

01:04:10,991 --> 01:04:11,891

Be continued.

:

01:04:12,509 --> 01:04:12,719

Laura: Yeah.

:

01:04:12,719 --> 01:04:15,929

Importantly, we see that

the XO is a fucking yes man.

:

01:04:15,929 --> 01:04:18,719

He's not the, the no XO who gets shot,

:

01:04:19,402 --> 01:04:19,912

so,

:

01:04:20,557 --> 01:04:21,037

Xhafer: Well

:

01:04:21,787 --> 01:04:22,717

that's an episode.

:

01:04:23,602 --> 01:04:24,622

Laura: It was an episode.

:

01:04:24,667 --> 01:04:27,757

Xhafer: And as is our way,

it's time to rate this one on

:

01:04:27,757 --> 01:04:29,767

a scale of one to 12 colonies.

:

01:04:30,532 --> 01:04:31,732

Laura: Do I have to,

:

01:04:32,197 --> 01:04:32,677

Xhafer: I fuck.

:

01:04:32,707 --> 01:04:33,217

I say, fuck

:

01:04:33,262 --> 01:04:33,802

Ben: Yes.

:

01:04:35,257 --> 01:04:35,557

Xhafer: Fuck.

:

01:04:35,782 --> 01:04:37,582

Laura: Jair is already out the gate.

:

01:04:37,897 --> 01:04:38,107

Xhafer: Fuck.

:

01:04:38,317 --> 01:04:40,507

This is, this is my fuck

this episode, this season.

:

01:04:40,957 --> 01:04:41,887

Um.

:

01:04:42,217 --> 01:04:46,957

For the same reason that I

can't watch this, did not get as

:

01:04:46,957 --> 01:04:49,237

graphic as like a Handmaid's Tale.

:

01:04:49,627 --> 01:04:54,427

And I've made my stance on that show

very, very clear in previous episodes.

:

01:04:54,427 --> 01:04:59,947

So I'll not reiterate myself, but

I get so upset at this stuff that I

:

01:04:59,947 --> 01:05:04,327

just get very angry that, that we live

in a world where this is something

:

01:05:04,327 --> 01:05:06,577

that we could dramatize or happens.

:

01:05:07,027 --> 01:05:08,887

It's even worse that it fucking happens.

:

01:05:09,367 --> 01:05:12,037

And yeah, so fuck this episode.

:

01:05:13,957 --> 01:05:14,227

Yep.

:

01:05:15,147 --> 01:05:16,087

Laura: Ben, do you wanna go ahead?

:

01:05:16,672 --> 01:05:17,062

Ben: Sure.

:

01:05:17,602 --> 01:05:20,842

I, because rating the episode is a rule.

:

01:05:21,937 --> 01:05:22,357

Laura: Mm-hmm.

:

01:05:22,822 --> 01:05:25,612

Ben: I'm going to actually

rate the EPIs the episode.

:

01:05:26,302 --> 01:05:26,662

Xhafer: Fuck.

:

01:05:26,662 --> 01:05:28,012

This episode is a rating.

:

01:05:28,747 --> 01:05:31,657

Ben: I don't like what happens.

:

01:05:32,317 --> 01:05:36,705

But gosh darn it, I was

compelled and riveted.

:

01:05:37,154 --> 01:05:41,895

There was no like downbeat where

I was just like, Hey, this is

:

01:05:41,895 --> 01:05:43,035

kind of slowing down a bit.

:

01:05:43,245 --> 01:05:44,025

It was.

:

01:05:44,992 --> 01:05:50,302

Hey, you wanna feel happy for a minute

and then regret that you ever felt happy?

:

01:05:51,442 --> 01:05:52,822

Did you forget where you are?

:

01:05:52,822 --> 01:05:54,892

We are living in the post apocalypse.

:

01:05:55,162 --> 01:05:58,298

Um, I think this is an 11 for me.

:

01:06:00,458 --> 01:06:03,548

Like it is, it is not fun.

:

01:06:04,401 --> 01:06:09,651

But I was mad that it to be continued me,

:

01:06:10,161 --> 01:06:11,541

Laura: Oh, me too, for

:

01:06:11,541 --> 01:06:12,021

sure.

:

01:06:13,071 --> 01:06:13,341

Yeah.

:

01:06:13,521 --> 01:06:15,621

Ben: and I think that is

a sign of a great episode.

:

01:06:16,156 --> 01:06:19,696

Laura: The thing that got me really

mad, and I recognize this is totally

:

01:06:19,696 --> 01:06:26,425

irrational, but the fact that Admiral

Kane condones this sort of torture.

:

01:06:28,420 --> 01:06:33,730

Like as a woman is like, fine with it.

:

01:06:34,660 --> 01:06:38,860

I was pretty viscerally mad about that.

:

01:06:38,860 --> 01:06:42,610

And I know that it should no

matter what, this method of

:

01:06:42,610 --> 01:06:45,100

torture should be super bad.

:

01:06:45,100 --> 01:06:51,910

But I felt like that sort of betrayal

by another sister or something

:

01:06:51,910 --> 01:06:57,200

almost I can't describe it Well,

because it's not a, it's, it's an

:

01:06:57,200 --> 01:06:59,750

emotional thing, not a logical thing.

:

01:06:59,755 --> 01:07:00,175

Xhafer: Mm-hmm.

:

01:07:01,620 --> 01:07:03,330

Laura: So, boy, I just really hate her.

:

01:07:04,320 --> 01:07:05,580

I don't like her at all.

:

01:07:05,940 --> 01:07:11,040

Uh, I understand that I'm gonna

find out in this movie that there

:

01:07:11,040 --> 01:07:17,460

are reasons we are this way that

we are, but I just don't, I just

:

01:07:17,460 --> 01:07:18,000

can't be

:

01:07:18,015 --> 01:07:18,570

Xhafer: I'm not.

:

01:07:19,350 --> 01:07:19,980

No, I'm not.

:

01:07:20,190 --> 01:07:20,610

I'm not.

:

01:07:20,880 --> 01:07:23,850

The movie does not

justify anyone's actions.

:

01:07:24,370 --> 01:07:25,230

Ben: It explains,

:

01:07:25,290 --> 01:07:26,820

Xhafer: It explains, it does not

:

01:07:26,895 --> 01:07:27,165

Laura: huh.

:

01:07:27,945 --> 01:07:30,045

Ben: but that is Battle

Sar Galactica, we explain.

:

01:07:30,045 --> 01:07:31,275

We do not justify.

:

01:07:31,935 --> 01:07:32,325

Laura: Yeah.

:

01:07:32,955 --> 01:07:37,875

I, I guess I'm trying to be cool

that like, okay, I guess I'm missing

:

01:07:37,875 --> 01:07:40,425

contact, but I just, I'm just not with

:

01:07:40,485 --> 01:07:42,045

Ben: context is for Kings.

:

01:07:42,585 --> 01:07:43,005

Laura: Yeah.

:

01:07:43,365 --> 01:07:43,725

Yeah.

:

01:07:43,725 --> 01:07:46,095

And I'm just a, just a lowly peasant.

:

01:07:46,303 --> 01:07:47,233

Ben: Hey, you're a podcaster.

:

01:07:47,293 --> 01:07:48,943

You are a step above peasant

:

01:07:50,098 --> 01:07:51,868

Laura: are you sure it's above Ben?

:

01:07:53,143 --> 01:07:54,193

Ben: as a podcaster.

:

01:07:54,253 --> 01:07:54,973

Yes.

:

01:07:58,048 --> 01:08:03,088

Laura: Uh, yeah, but I, I will

sit with you on the 11 hill, Ben,

:

01:08:03,088 --> 01:08:06,118

especially 'cause I already blew my

fuck this episode for the season.

:

01:08:06,648 --> 01:08:07,708

Xhafer: you can have as many as you

:

01:08:07,768 --> 01:08:09,118

Laura: Bad choices were made.

:

01:08:10,633 --> 01:08:13,423

Xhafer: There's no, there's no

limit on, fuck this episodes.

:

01:08:13,423 --> 01:08:14,023

Do what you want.

:

01:08:14,563 --> 01:08:19,005

Ben: I, I just, I, I firmly

believe, like, not fun,

:

01:08:19,620 --> 01:08:20,399

Xhafer: Yeah, I know.

:

01:08:21,194 --> 01:08:21,524

Ben: like

:

01:08:22,050 --> 01:08:22,710

Laura: No, it is good

:

01:08:23,024 --> 01:08:26,295

Ben: wanted to watch the next

episode and I feel like the

:

01:08:26,295 --> 01:08:27,615

rating should reflect that.

:

01:08:27,765 --> 01:08:28,055

Xhafer: fair

:

01:08:28,170 --> 01:08:29,550

Laura: is Very good tv.

:

01:08:29,729 --> 01:08:31,470

I want to watch the next episode.

:

01:08:31,560 --> 01:08:34,649

I'm also a little scared

to watch the next episode.

:

01:08:35,100 --> 01:08:35,520

Like

:

01:08:36,000 --> 01:08:36,630

Xhafer: reasonable.

:

01:08:37,140 --> 01:08:40,200

Laura: Yeah, you notice I haven't

been like rushing to do it.

:

01:08:40,770 --> 01:08:42,300

It's been a couple weeks

:

01:08:42,330 --> 01:08:46,440

Xhafer: Well we also, we have something

else before we get there too, 'cause

:

01:08:46,440 --> 01:08:48,029

it's our movie break next week.

:

01:08:48,059 --> 01:08:48,569

Laura: That's true.

:

01:08:48,600 --> 01:08:48,809

Yeah.

:

01:08:49,109 --> 01:08:52,800

Xhafer: So originally when we had

talked about movie breaks, we like

:

01:08:52,800 --> 01:08:54,720

doing stuff the actors are in.

:

01:08:55,211 --> 01:08:58,062

and that's why we chose

Blade Runner for season one.

:

01:08:58,542 --> 01:09:03,282

But while I was reading the, so say we

all book about the making of the show,

:

01:09:04,002 --> 01:09:08,442

we found out a little thing and that

is when a new director would sign up.

:

01:09:08,817 --> 01:09:14,067

To do an episode of Battlestar Galactica,

part of the welcome to the Family package

:

01:09:14,067 --> 01:09:20,787

that they would send was three DVDs,

blade Runner:

:

01:09:20,787 --> 01:09:26,997

Black Hawk Down because the all of the

main production crew your producers,

:

01:09:26,997 --> 01:09:32,487

your cinematographers, your writer crew,

all considered those three things to be

:

01:09:32,756 --> 01:09:39,207

the mosaic melting pot that forms the

visual style of Battlestar Gala acta.

:

01:09:39,892 --> 01:09:40,312

Laura: Mm-hmm.

:

01:09:41,247 --> 01:09:44,756

Xhafer: So with that in mind, we're

gonna watch another one of those movies.

:

01:09:44,756 --> 01:09:47,006

Did we pick, did we

set on Black Hawk Down?

:

01:09:48,247 --> 01:09:49,702

Ben: I pushed for it real hard.

:

01:09:51,627 --> 01:09:54,357

Laura: That seems to be the one that

you and I both have not actually

:

01:09:54,627 --> 01:09:55,017

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

01:09:55,762 --> 01:09:59,422

And to be honest, notes

on:

:

01:10:01,402 --> 01:10:01,882

So we're gonna

:

01:10:02,062 --> 01:10:05,842

Laura: I mean, we can cover it at

another time and just sort of, maybe

:

01:10:05,842 --> 01:10:08,272

watch it and just no doubts it,

:

01:10:08,887 --> 01:10:13,657

Xhafer: Yeah, maybe we should do,

uh, a stream at some point where

:

01:10:13,657 --> 01:10:15,697

we just live, react and riff.

:

01:10:18,367 --> 01:10:18,757

We, We,

:

01:10:18,832 --> 01:10:21,262

Laura: Well, at some point

Laura will fall asleep because

:

01:10:21,262 --> 01:10:22,882

that is Laura's sleeping movie.

:

01:10:23,107 --> 01:10:23,857

Xhafer: Oh, okay.

:

01:10:23,857 --> 01:10:25,777

Maybe we, maybe we, that's a bad choice.

:

01:10:26,047 --> 01:10:26,707

Regardless.

:

01:10:26,707 --> 01:10:28,567

We're watching Black Hawk down next week.

:

01:10:28,818 --> 01:10:29,238

Laura: Mm-hmm.

:

01:10:29,888 --> 01:10:32,258

Xhafer: So that's, that's

what's on the docket.

:

01:10:32,258 --> 01:10:36,428

And then we'll get to season

two episode 11, resurrection

:

01:10:36,428 --> 01:10:39,968

ship part one after the movie.

:

01:10:40,650 --> 01:10:44,841

But before we get to that movie,

should remember to say our thank yous.

:

01:10:45,422 --> 01:10:45,992

Hey Ben,

:

01:10:46,623 --> 01:10:47,973

thanks for joining us today.

:

01:10:48,573 --> 01:10:49,833

Ben: my absolute pleasure.

:

01:10:50,253 --> 01:10:51,633

Xhafer: Always great to have you on.

:

01:10:52,063 --> 01:10:54,553

If you want to hear Ben and I talk more.

:

01:10:54,863 --> 01:10:59,363

Feel free to go pop over to last

Time on, which is another show on

:

01:10:59,363 --> 01:11:02,573

the wa Hapa, her Podcast Fam Network.

:

01:11:03,063 --> 01:11:05,853

We watch a TV show that we haven't seen.

:

01:11:06,363 --> 01:11:10,803

We watch the pilot, we roll some dice,

we skip a bunch of episodes, and we

:

01:11:10,803 --> 01:11:15,243

try to figure out what happened last

time on where we're joined by Victor

:

01:11:15,423 --> 01:11:20,053

and more famously known as Dominion

Media Television on the Facebooks.

:

01:11:20,263 --> 01:11:23,143

So that's a lot of fun that show.

:

01:11:23,968 --> 01:11:26,608

Ben: Now currently known

as VPN Media Television.

:

01:11:28,750 --> 01:11:28,990

Xhafer: Yeah.

:

01:11:28,990 --> 01:11:29,410

So thanks.

:

01:11:29,410 --> 01:11:31,420

Thanks for tagging along today, Ben.

:

01:11:31,450 --> 01:11:33,550

We'll see you again.

:

01:11:34,114 --> 01:11:40,204

you have not picked a season three

episode yet, so take a look, pick one out.

:

01:11:40,534 --> 01:11:41,644

We'll get you on the docket

:

01:11:42,484 --> 01:11:44,344

Ben: I mean, season premier, right?

:

01:11:45,039 --> 01:11:45,604

Xhafer: if that's

:

01:11:45,634 --> 01:11:45,964

Ben: That's just

:

01:11:45,964 --> 01:11:47,344

what, that's just what I do.

:

01:11:47,779 --> 01:11:48,169

Xhafer: Okay.

:

01:11:48,499 --> 01:11:49,789

Yeah, I'll put, I'll mark it down.

:

01:11:50,929 --> 01:11:51,049

Uh,

:

01:11:51,049 --> 01:11:53,029

I'd say the episode

catch up, they'll understand.

:

01:13:03,103 --> 01:13:04,603
